Tough choice but I have to go with:
1) Mos Def – ‘Beauty in the Dark’ (ft. Isley Bros.) – Normally an Isley Bros cover would be blasphemous but this song is just so damn smooth.
2) Black Star – ‘Brown Skin Lady’ – this song reminds me of my college days & my fine ass ex gf. Damn I may have to look her up!!!
